Once I discovered how much I loved management accounting and working with QuickBooks, I quickly began to build my business. In my first few years of business, I hired bookkeepers to do various month end tasks for our construction clients.

Prior to sending any work back to our clients, I would review the work the bookkeepers were performing. Not having a set of specific tasks in place, I found that there were often overlooked steps and numerous mistakes. As a result, I had to write up a ton of notes each time!
